Royal Gourmet, proudly operated by the Royal China Group, the UK's leading Chinese restaurant group, has been setting the standard in premium oriental cuisine for over 25 years. Renowned for excellence, we specialise in an extensive range of Dim Sum and our legendary Aromatic Crispy Duck.
Located in Park Royal, our state-of-the-art production facility is purpose-built for Asian cuisine and holds EU approval for both fish and meat products. Designed to meet all UK and EU regulations, the facility ensures the highest levels of hygiene, with strict separation of raw and cooked foods during every stage of production.
Our food is crafted by passionate and experienced professionals guided by our highly skilled chefs. We blend authentic recipes and premium ingredients sourced from the Far East and Europe. Our commitment to quality is underpinned by a robust HACCP system and full end-to-end traceability.

Chef Ming's journey to culinary mastery began in the vibrant kitchens of Hong Kong, where he trained under traditional master chefs, learning the time-honoured techniques and secrets of Cantonese cuisine. His early years were spent perfecting the art of Dim Sum, a craft that demands precision, patience, and unwavering attention to detail.
His talent brought him to London, where he joined the Royal China Group. It was here that Chef Ming further refined his craft, blending deep-rooted knowledge of traditional methods with the demands of a discerning international clientele. When Royal Gourmet was launched, Chef Ming brought not only unparalleled expertise, but a vision to elevate Cantonese cuisine to new heights.
From the silky-smooth Har Kau to the intricately crafted Siu Mai, every dish bears the hallmark of his artistry. His innovative touch transformed our Aromatic Crispy Duck into the signature dish that keeps our customers coming back. Over the years, he has nurtured a team of talented chefs, passing down his knowledge to ensure the Royal Gourmet legacy continues to thrive.

25 Years of Excellence
Royal China Founded
Royal China opens its first restaurant at Queensway, London — founded on a single belief: only the very best is good enough. Under the founding vision of the Royal China Group, the kitchen begins crafting daily fresh dim sum on site with a team of renowned Hong Kong dim sum master chefs.
Michelin Guide Listed
Royal China is listed in the Michelin Guide, receiving recognition for its refined Cantonese cuisine and exceptional dining experience.
Bib Gourmat Award
Royal China receives the prestigious Bib Gourmat award, recognising excellent value and quality in the casual dining category.
Royal Gourmet is Born
Recognising that the quality of Royal China's production kitchen could serve a wider market, Royal Gourmet is established at Park Royal, North West London. A purpose-built EU-approved production facility creates a new standard for authentic Asian food production in Britain.
Royal China Club Opens
Royal China Club opens to critical acclaim as a refined and upscaled version of the original restaurant, setting new standards for fine dining Chinese cuisine in London.
